Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. In the 1950s, she began her professional career as an actor on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. In 1957, she also made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise embarked on a journey to Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a crow's-foot of acclaim as well as Louise received the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. This time she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. In 1964, she won her second notable role, when CBS appointed her as Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career well across Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber characters as against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also becoming a highly-acclaimed director on the most popular TV shows, including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th of August in 1965 the family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. She spent the majority of her youth there, and later her teenage years. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
